Our farm is located in the Alberta Peace Region, in the small farming community of Valhalla Centre.

We live in a beautiful prairie valley with rolling fields and many creeks. We treasure our abundant water resources; many farms and homes in the area, including ours, have flowing water wells. Our adult children and their families, presently living in urban centers in Canada and the US are maintaining their rural roots by becoming partners in our bison operation.

Bison are ideally suited for the northern climate found in Canada. Their extra fur cover on the shoulders, plus the extra development of the front half of their body allows them to turn towards the wind and storms of winter.

They are also able to push through the snow cover of the prairies with their large heads and muscles to find the grass beneath for grazing. And they require less food in the winter months because their metabolism slows.

We do not feed our bison any animal by-products. More than that, they are pasture-raised and are not subjected to drugs, chemicals, or any kind of artificial growth hormones.

We are raising bison to provide your family and ours with a natural, healthy red meat.
